For the one year anniversary of the Rana Plaza building collapse in Bangladesh, the Fashion Revolution are asking you to find out
Who Made Your Clothes?
We’re curious about food provenance, being sure to buy local and organic but consumers seem to be happy to buy clothes regardless of where they come from, or who made them. It’s time for all of that to change.
The clothes we choose say a lot about who we are. Let’s let them tell their whole story. The Fashion Revolution organisers are asking you to wear your clothes inside out on April 24th – with the tags visible – to show the world that you’ve found out where your clothes come from. The aim is to raise awareness and spark a change in the fashion world that will lead to a more sustainable industry.
Take a photo of your inside out look and share it on social media with the hashtag #InsideOut and tag it with @Fash_Rev. Get your kids involved! Your children will love this and will learn so much about being responsible consumers.
If your little punks have clothes from @TheFableists, then they are already part of the revolution because we tell the whole journey of our clothes on this blog. Please tag @TheFableists on any photos you share of our clothes on social media.
Have fun with this and be sure to join in. Don’t let another year go by without making a change in the way you buy clothes.
